TEACHER HATE THREAD

What's confusing to me is all the posts talking about how the teachers are afraid of getting in trouble, or having to have meetings with the principal.

Is this just a recent thing? Back in the 2000s it seemed like the teachers feared no repercussions.
It's recently. I went to high school from 97-2001 and I remember even when a teacher got in a fucking fight with a kid it was like two weeks without pay and he had to apologize to the parents.

But then again that was before they had cell phones in the classroom and everything was recorded.

Apartheid is cool.
That reddit is such a goldmine that I’ve seen (known homosexual) Gavin McInnes do whole segments reading from it and multiple threads on other forums about it.

I had a college English teacher ding me on a paper for using the word "dregs," which she claimed was not a word at all. I challenged her on it, asking her if she's never heard the term "dregs of society." After I showed her the word in a dictionary, she doubled down and claimed it was a 'slang' word and that she wouldn't amend my grade. I took that shit all the way to the admin office and demanded not only the useless half-a-point (or whatever the fuck it was worth) back that I lost, but also an apology from the dumb cunt, which I got. I ended up having her again the next semester for Greek Myth and I went to her right away asking if her and I were going to have similar problems again. I gave her the Samuel L Jackson eyes the whole time while she tried to half explain herself again. I hated that cunt.

I had the local news on while working from home and they had a piece on how some college is now offering a class that studies and discusses Taylor swift lyrics and her interviews. It’s not the first college to offer this and of course the teacher looked like a fat mess cat lady and the students all looked like future cat ladies.

And they want to cancel student debt so kids don’t have to pay back their loans for classes they took on Taylor Swift lyrics and dissecting episodes of “Friends”
In High School i took this optional “analyzing film” class. (I don’t remember it’s exact name.) I quit the class after maybe a month because it was the most basic shit ever and basically explaining metaphors or directing to retards. “When the camera zooms out and shows the character small…this is to show he’s isolated and FEELS small.” “You see the increasingly dark colors are to show the characters depressing worldview…”

My two take aways from it were, this is public school, why is this even a class? And the second was that even though shit like that is important, how fucking dumb are kids they need this basic shit explained to them?

Imagine how awful film school is.

Lotta fawwkin problems at every school I went to. In Elementary School the sweaty pitted music teacher was fired for being a drunk. In Middle School we had one male teacher get fired for having a “before school foot club” where he’d put kids socks in the fridge. He flew to Thailand to “mourn his wife” as all of this was going down. I had a (female) math teacher accidentally pull up porn, but I didn’t see it so i think the little shitheads were setting her up. In High School we had a gay band teacher get fired for messaging a former student sexually (he was like 18-19 and didn’t attend the school anymore, so i didnt understand the big deal.)

lotta fawwkin problems in Florida.

Which way?! Medium or well done?
A peculiar, seemingly coordinated effort in the past few years is pushing the narrative that teachers are forced to spend vast sums of their own money for supplies. Companies do school supply drives to help with the "issue," local news outlets do fluff pieces about it when school starts each year and teachers themselves constantly post about it online.

It just doesn't pass the common sense test--there can't be a single district in the United States where a teacher is forced to go out and buy things. I know many go out of their way to purchase the expensive pens they like, posters, etc. but there can't be a principal in the country forcing them to buy books and other basics. They act like it's a Mexican prison where they just walk into an empty room and are forced to procure desks and all the essentials themselves.

For every 10 women complaining about the problem on social media, I'm sure there's some boomer dude teacher in their department who hasn't spent a single cent his whole career because it's literally not required or necessary.
