There's one that really badly fucks me up, because I loved this girl on every level. She was so fucking cute and so fucking crazy, like a stuffed animal brought to life, a happy tree friend, and we'd flirt all the time. We couldn't be in the same room without cracking playful jokes about how hot we found each other. I never made a move because she smoked cigarettes and that was enough to chase other girls.

Years later, one of my best friends (from another school) meets her and goes "jackpot", of course I get to watch and not participate as she's the best girlfriend ever to him. He sent me the text message, overdose, she was 24.

One friend killed himself in high school, but as for after.. one guy in my class died of cancer (he was in his early 30s. Another who was a year ahead of me died of a heart attack I believe at 30 but it was no big secret he loved coke. Otherwise though he was a funny guy. Loved talking shit but in a well meaning way. This thread made me look up the girl who killed herself inquest into her death.

She was bipolar apparently and was such a big user of ketamine she had a tolerance to it. Full on going to the biggest most well known rehab in the country levels. No idea how she actually did kill herself though.

I can't give too much away. Its was a fairly unique spree he went on. Though the girl did change her name afterwards he has a Wikipedia page now and everything so I'm not danning myself for the sake of a good story.

Two people I knew died in car accidents, pretty close to one another. The first was this dude who was Pentecostal or something. Always dressed like he was Amish but was a very cool kid, always friendly and liked to play drums. I think he got hit head on as he was driving. Really felt sorry for him.

The second was a more popular kid, jock, etc., and of course we were all bombarded with memorials and vigils. I don’t remember him being an asshole but I wasn’t in “that circle” (I hung around more the da pot head and skateboard crowd, sniff).

From what I recall, the second kid still has vigils that go on for him (mostly organized by the people in my class who never left home).

I was in internal suspension for like three days or something because I punched a kid in the head. The dumb bitch teacher told me "I should be ashamed of myself" and it's like, I didn't hit him for no reason. He was a dick.
