The podcaster spliced that episode together from obviously a much longer interview and it's almost like he intentionally did so in a way to make Rick come off as a self-absorbed dunderhead. I can't wait until Rick attacks him on Twitter and they do a follow up with Dan.

He addressed this, child. He didn't do his homework but he was so smart that he busted the curve on every test because he's a very special smart boy. I recall being able to fake my way to at least a C and usually a B when I fucked off in high school, most of the work didn't involve doing homework and studying, it was just basic knowledge. Also he didn't fail out of community college, he got a super duper job offer that lured him away.

That's another problem with him is that he doesn't realize he is neither telegenic nor pleasing to the ear, but he insists on being in front of cameras and microphones. He's a doughy, frog-mouthed dork with autistic mannerisms in the way he speaks which is only made worse with that ugly Wisconsin accent. In his delusional mind he's a sexy jock who sounds like an intellectual.

It's just a flimsy cope for his addiction. His author posts get pitiful engagement and he without a doubt moves more copies handselling in bars and cons than he does with his epic trump clapbacks (has to be dozens and dozens by now). I will say I did recently see a single copy of his and ooga's books in the wild recently, but they're probably not sellable since someone defaced them with racial and sexual slurs and something about an abandoned daughter.
