Jim and Sam got shit-canned, Hallelujah

Fucking love it still. Sam doesent understand his narcissistic attitude despite being unfunny and untalented is unjustified and Kevin rightfully dressed him down as the bitch he is.

I don't get the Kevin Pollak hate. He's a good impressionist and is a good interviewer. He made Jay Mohr seem likeable and human (start at 7:07): https://yewtu.be/watch?v=o8jhaIazjCM

Jay and Kevin go on good rolls with their impressions and are genuinely funny.

REMINDER: The Worm said he was retiring his prop & baby noise act but it was just another pouty passive aggressive "tell me not to leave" tactic over studio renovations that weren't up to his insatiable standards. Never trust the sincerity of Jim Norton.
No props or baby noises? Oh no. Please tell me he isn't retiring his material about meaty clits, pre-cum and being molested as a child too, because if so there goes the whole act.

I really wanted an episode of Talkin Walken. One of the best appearances either has ever had not just on the show but in radio in general. I would die laughing at an hour of them doing their Walken impressions back and forth. Walken interviewing Walken would’ve been gold.

absolute best. Sam isn't used to people stepping up to him directly. Like Aunt Gretta, he sends a vibe: you better leave it alone. I will make it ugly. And it gets so awkward it just isn't worth starting the argument with him. If you do you have to expect to get hit back 3x as hard in a way that is not ribbing, doing a bit, or fucking around. The anger is genuine and intense.

Pollock exposed how he responds when someone just goes at him without concern for avoiding that awkward tension. That exchange reveals why they would rather leave it alone than deal with him. Denny for some reason triggers a similar response in Sam but I stopped listening before he was a character and haven't heard enough bits to understand the dynamic. Either Sam is jealous of how effortlessly likeable Denny is or there's some other factor. Maybe it's because Denny will fire brital zingers that are funny and make Sam look bad in between being very mellow, making it hard for Sam to retaliate without seeming unhinged - leaving him to simmer in petty asshurt rage until he feels he can strike. But the anger is definitely real and you can see his real character in those moments

Pollack has a lot of range. I’ve never seen him as just an impressionist. He was brilliant in A Few Good Men as the easy going co counsel who believed his clients were the victims of the whims of command. Great as the straight man to Meredith, Matthau and Lemon in the Grumpy Old Men films. Awesome in the “Whole _____ Yards” movies (he’s the only one who actually does a great job in those
Movies).
I still check out his Chat Show pods because he gets some really great questions in to everyone, including Jim and Trathony, and his impressions are spot on. One of my favorite episodes is Pollack and Jay Mohr because they discuss the “art” of impressions, which I don’t see a whole lot of people doing.

And yes, Pollack picking on Samuel Roberts is a treasure trove that needs to be passed on to the youngin’s

I'm honestly shocked they made it this long. Pointless, irrelevant show.

I actually have more respect for Sam than Jim, though thats not saying much. He is a no talent, back stabbing hack but I do think he actually works hard and cares about his job. He put in a lot of crazy hours for basically no money for tha show back in its prime. O&A acted like retards and allowed him to walk ass first into this gig, he'd have been a retard not to take it.

Norton, on the other hand, puts no time and effort into his craft. He's actually gotten worse as a comic over the years and is totally useless as a cohost even after 2 decades in radio. With the wrestling and WWE shit you can at least make the case your trying to get a younger audience involved or something. Who the fuck wants to listen to an old Aids ridden queen in his 60's edge off to porn stories? I hope his old comedy friends have blackballed him.

Ant will offer Norton $100 a show to cohost with him.

Idk man Sam is easily the worst and laziest producer for ona, literally 0 production after he chased off Steve c and Danny

That's because he desperately tried to move on from production to weaseling himself into air time, which admittedly was the smart thing to do. Production was a sidegig at best if he wanted to climb the ladder.

You're not a hard worker if spend hours making Professor and Epstein tier morning zoo bits, you're just a fucking idiot wasting your time.

Dennis Falcone has a thick 8-incher and Sam can’t handle the feelings it makes him have when he sees that braciole swaying in Denny’s slacks

the damage done by Jim is huge, he turned OnA against each other(nana is as much to blame), killed the possibility of rotating third mic, then backstabbed opie and ended the opieraqio channel where opie was getting vos etc.'s podcasts paid, he backstabbed everyone who gave him an opportunity including Louie and Dice and probably some others i forgot. sam backstabbed everyone he worked for too, vile niggers
To be fair while I think Ant has turned into the biggest scumbag who’s yet to commit a murder that I know of, Opie was the one who caused the friendship to deteriorate. He let his piece of ass tell him that Ant divorcing Jennifer meant Ant was the piece of shit (he definitely is one now) and they treated Lobster Girl like shit when Ant was with her. Ant didn’t necessarily do anything to make it better after Opie and Sandy split up, but he probably figured Lynsie would be like Sandy, he’s said on a couple TACS episodes back when he got that going that Opie ends up with the same type of broad every time.
