- Mr. Tomlinson has been instructed many times by friends, family, police, and attorneys to stop engaging with his trolls, and that continuing to provoke them will cause him to be trolled even more. Mr. Tomlinson wilfully ignores this advice.
- He would eventually file a defamation suit against 60 anonymous people which was dismissed with Mr. Tomlinson being ordered to pay $34,762.25 for opposing parties' attorney fees.
- He ended up paying $83,736.99 due to his unsuccessful attempts to dodge the court-ordered judgement, for which he faced jail time and contempt charges.
- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal to a troll. The individual in the video is very obviously Patrick S. Tomlinson.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never submitted this video footage during any of his many media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergences (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

I guess Norton has a better point in wanting more money than Sam. Presumably he still tours and does comedy, so leaving the show means more time to focus on that and make more. Who am I kidding though, Jimmy will never put that much effort into something. But he probably thinks he will. SiriusXM is the only radio company on Earth that doesn't pay for Nielson/whoever stats. Anywhere else they go will collect listener stats, and they'll be booted after show number one features "listeners: exactly one".
...there's literally nowhere else. No radio company, no TV company, and nothing digital unless Chip... I mean, Norton, does it for free. Podcast advertisers will need download/listener stats before opening their wallets, so that's out.

They saw an opportunity to dump the big money contracts of Opie and Anthony, and they wisely took it. But keeping Jim and Sam? There's no chemistry, no comedy, no effort. If these loads pulled $200K a year from that show, it was $200K too much.
Maybe SXM is finally wising up and pushing out the deadweight. I'd hate to see it happen to Ronnie next, but you know, that's what you get by hanging on to Gail.

Ronnie retired at the end of Ron & Fez; but he figured out how to fool Sirius into still paying him, while also setting his daughter up with a radio career and a bunch of contacts.
The show's unlistenable, but that's fine - he's not making it for an audience.

Pretty much. Jim made enough money off OnA's coattails and can still do standup, even though he only sells 30 tickets a show. He can at least survive especially with his apartment paid off. Sam on the other hand has a brand new mortgage and can't do anything else and now he has to go find a job in a dying medium. His only shot is to do some podcast type thing but they can't charge people for it like Ant can. Let's be honest, it hardly works with Ant and he at least has talent. No one will actually pay for Jim and Sam. The only people who listen to it listen because they already get Sirius for other stuff.
The few times I've listened to Jim and Sam over the years, Jim usually seems mildly annoyed by his absolutely horrible co-host. I think Jim will motherfuck Sam after they get fired by Sirius and Sam will finally have to realize that he's not talent and he never was talent. If Sam had focused his energy on climbing the corporate ladder at Sirius instead of getting behind a microphone, he'd probably have a cushy executive level job by now.
