She's not shown as a good hunter (neither is the Pred) and her tribe have the dumbest tranditions (just like the Pred). He mother calling her a fucking idiot for wanting to prove herself to a bunch of retards was great.

I could go on but one of the best films of last year (The Outfit was good too....can't think of any others off the top of my head).

The Predator design not being Stan Winston's original was one thing I didn't like. An unnecessary change that wasn't an improvement imo.

Back the the mother scene....she's straight up telling her daughter she's shite at hunting (she is...the rabbit and bear scene show it) that her skills are in problem solving and medicine, which have more value.

That poor women had already lost a husband and has to put on makeup and dance to celebrate her son going out to bother a lion just for clout. She knows it's bullshit and it breaks her heart but that's what's expected of her. Her daughter isn't even expected to play that role and she's retarded for wanting to.
