Yeah this a pretty shitty "law firm." It feels more like a Mikey Mouse, legal-themed project management firm who's goal is simply to guide your case to it's inevitable end rather than impact the outcome.

Lawyers, to be really successful, have to view each case as Game 7 of the Finals. Sure, they'll make cash if they lose, but the path to a real career and wealth is by winning and establishing a reputation as a killer. Like El Tigre. Kid was bangin rails in his condo bathroom like Michael Irvin at the Super Bowl before he came out for his Zoom call in a suit jacket, tie, and his dick hanging out below the camera.

Rick went to a bargain basement firm and he's never going to realize his mistake because when it doesn't go his way he'll just blame the judge again anyway.

Im sorry Mr Tomlinson there must have been a mistake, let me correct that.

Very possible pat made a few fake death threats screenshots to convince a lawyer that it fits a criteria to be worth pursuing. He did that right before the quasi suit and edited a text for Andrew. Why would he stop now?
Why did pat tweet about the threat at detroit but instantly deleted it?

Its a hearing to find Pat in contempt or not. There's a lot of discretion allowed by the judge on what happens next. It appears Ricky submitted a pro se filing to ask for a continuance. One day later two attorneys were entered into the court website as counsel for Pat. Until the court website updates this has no impact on Thursday except for the fact that Pat may not need to show up if he has counsel there.

It's unlikely that they would move a hearing date with only a few days notice.

tl/dr - Nothing has changed except for Pat retaining attornies.
Is he still fat?

Surely his new lawyers must be aware Quasi's lawyer has already submitted to evidence his tweets claiming he won't pay?

Even if Rick didn't tell them about it directly, surely they're pricy to the evidence already filed?

There's no way they show up in 2 days and get blindsided by their new client's previous idiocy?

Surely?
They're probably going to give the judge a canned sob story, then advise Patrick to declare bankruptcy. Also, Patso is probably putting this all on credit cards.

Maybe some redditor/Twitter user should send them this link just in case. Or maybe it would be better if they saw it for the first time on Thursday.

I laugh at them because they're all the same.

Sounds like pat was too scared to actually appear in court and was willing to pay anyone to represent him instead of take responsibility.
