Howard Stern is still scared of covid

I went to a couple of the staff guys appearances and it wasn’t bad - got to meet / talk to guys like Ronnie, JD, Sal, Richard, High Pitch etc. and it looked like they were having fun and a good way to make money on the side but Stern put his foot down on it for some stupid reason after letting his staff do appearances since the late 80s. Something about his “brand” or equally stupid because he’s greedy.

There’s a clip somewhere that has Artie slip when Stern is talking about how much he hates swimming in a pool and while he’s listing things that bothers him about going into a pool and Artie said “and your hair” followed by a weird pause before Stern moved on like his hair wasn’t mentioned
I posted this in another thread earlier today but here is KC saying he wants to take 15k from the station (Tom offered this) to get in the ring with Tito Ortiz (UFC fighter) for one minute.

I shuffle through them at work so I don’t know the exact clip but Stern is yelling at half the staff for going to LA on a Friday and missing half an hour of the show where he has the audacity to do the whole spiel followed by “this is how you make your whole living…well at least it’s how I do.”
Edit: pretty straightforward title

Edit: Nevermind, I posted it in this thread.

I've never listened to a single second of Stern's show.

I woke up in the middle of the night in a hotel room in 2000 and his televised show was on E!. It was boring. Some deep-voiced droning skeleton wearing sunglasses in a dimly-lit studio without windows, a black woman in a plexiglass prism (what the fuck?) who guffawed at everything, interviewing no-name porn stars who had absolutely nothing interesting to say.

I read the Gideon bible, as it was more entertaining.

This was the bad boy of radio who terrified & overawed Opie? Really? Really? Opie was a dope to be obsessed with this pointless loser.

It’s great how upset he gets when anyone mentions he wears a wig and he tries to deny it - even going so far he had some “doctor” come on his show to prove he’s not wearing a wig or some shit. I remember Artie once slipped up and mentioned Howard’s hair being an issue when he went into a pool
Lol why couldn't Howie throw a few grand around? shit rent in NYC is expensive 😞

Which way?! Medium or well done?

The effects he runs through the mic to make his voice boom are annoying as hell. You can tell it's altered compared to the others

From what I’ve heard they don’t even do the news anymore which was one of the best parts of the show (especially when Gilbert was on) - now she’s useless.
That was always my favorite part. Especially because the only guests that were around would be comedians. Gilbert was the best but there was an episode in the early 2000s with Kevin Meaney of all people that was hysterical. He would just make shit up about each story like he was well-informed and it took Howard a while to figure out Kevin was just joking. Robin said something about a Lord of the Rings movie and Kevin shouted, “Love that Lord of the Rings” and Howard just went, “You haven’t seen it. Keep going, Robin”.

Still spreading the O&A virus
His first wife dumped him for being a hermit and airing too much of their personal life on air.
The airing of the personal stuff definitely didn't help. But Howard was not the hermit he is now during the 80s and 90s. He was filming TV shows, traveling, making a movie, and pretty much always going out to restaurants and even partying. When he would go to California for some talk show appearance he would party with guys like Kinison and his whole crew. When he was promoting his books or movie he was shaking hands with people and appearing in front of studio audiences several times a week.

At some point Howard transformed into an old paranoid bald jewish lady. I bet part of it is extreme fear of being exposed wearing his wig and his obsession with his hair. And literally nothing to do with COVID but it is a convenient excuse. You remember the time O&A grabbed Patti's wig and yanked it off her bald head? That bit was one of those viral radio bits that went everywhere through file sharing and radio people passing it along. I would guess that Howard has had nightmares of O&A fans ripping his wig off of his head at least a few times.

But the big thing with his wife was the cheating. Based on the timeline he cheated on Allison with Beth even and then a bunch of actresses from Private Parts. But years later Howard is now dreadful of things like handshakes or people not wearing masks. And is visibly repulsed and shaking at discussions on the air of sex where he seems to be now grossed out by any form of unprotected sex. He developed some neurosis and is distressed at every type of bodily contact.
Why doesn't Beth just take half his money and let him die in a hole? He must have some serious pre-nup.
Their prenup was welded and carved into steel tablets knowing Stern. It probably has a clause where if Beth leaves she cannot use his name in the media. Nor use his publicists to book herself on talk shows. Nor write any books period no matter the subject. Anthony had a clause like that with Jennifer. So Beth might get a few million but no more giant mansions or hanging with celebrities, writing books, or talk show appearances.
Its so her preparing of the news doesn't carry-over to the other mics.
Robin's "dunking booth" as Opie once called it started out because Robin and the people in DC didn't like her interacting with Howard so often and she herself just wanted her own newsroom. Then they got to WNBC and WXRX and her news eventually became a big segment on the show. Where Robin would start the show talking to Howard, then drop out to prepare her news, and finally finish the show with various news stories for Howard and Jackie and Fred to comment on and whatnot.

But sometime probably in the late 90s Robin just had interns do her entire news segment for her. They would prepare the news for her, select the stories, and she would proofread them enough to get them on the air. And Stern fans found out which news aggregate sites the interns were using and could often predict the exact stories that would be read on the air. They would just find a place that would list 'weird news' stories and take the top ten and hand them to Robin.

I can see that with Beth - he needs the illusion of a “super model” wife and if she leaves she will be nothing (probably even compares it to what happens when people leave his show like Jackie)

Beth has gotta be miserable having to live with him - she got him when he was at his hottest career wise - movie, tv show, books, soundtrack, etc and only got a small taste of the rich Hollywood life before Stern became scarred of everything - somewhere in the 2000s he aged like 30 years and was going out to dinner at 4pm - not even able to go to the best restaurants in NY since they open by the time he’s in bed. I always thought it was funny he bragged that Beth was a supermodel yet at the most she did the Sears catalog until he was able to get her some but not much work.

I’m surprised they don’t do the news anymore - that was usually the best part but I wonder if stern put a stop to it because he’s afraid of saying something off the top of his head that isn’t in line with the democrat talking points he’s been memorizing for years. Mr “you never know what he will say next!” Is afraid of saying the wrong thing.

"I have no idea what I'm talking about but it's not going to stop me from talking"

Howard was the highest grossing and had the highest ratings in their industry. They took aim at him. Nobody was "terrified" you Italics-emphasis using queer.

Get raped, white nigger.

I literally said to my family, "God didn't create us to live in constant fear confined to our homes. If this kills me, so be it."

When I see 70 year olds scared of it, I understand, but it's like, fuck, you guys are pussies. No wonder this generation is so fucking afraid of a cold.
I feel the same but the annoying part is all the boomers being fags about it pretending it's out of altruism but really they sre just worried about dying before theyve had a chance to spend every last dime they have like the generation of locusts they are

Re-reading what you said and what I said about "If this kills me, so be it," I want to be very clear that I am in no way bragging.

I am not a macho guy. I don't think anyone would look at me here and say, "That guy is an ideal man." I've never had a hard labor job. Never was in a sports league as a kid (long story)...I've never been in a fist fight as an adult.

Yet I found God and truly believe in Him and so I can be afraid, but what do I really have to fear? Covid? Fine. If it wipes me out with the rest of humanity, ok.

Having that attitude makes me not bend to the whim of our weak ass politicians and their Jewish handlers.

no I get what you mean "i'm not going to live in fear of this" rather than trying to be Devil May Care badass.

Edit: also congrats on finding God and some peace in your life, I know we are just supposed to shit on each other here.... I mean.... Nice Jesus, Stupid!

If you actually believe in eternity and life after death with Jesus Christ then fearing some disease with 99.9% survival rate is a sign that your faith is entirely fraudulent. These preachers who scream at people about life and death. And live in constant paranoia either are just atheists or satanic frauds like Ted Haggard or Joel Osteen. Even crying at funerals makes zero sense if you believe the person will be resurrected.

I can't wait to see how truly insane the mark of the beast system is when the jews finally go for it. Project Blue Beam and all sorts of hilarity.
