I have a face like a shovel
We all used to secretly play Duke Nukem 3D in middle school, i distinctly remember throwing money at those strippers, we were easily amused.

related- has anyone gone and played "Duke Nukem Forever" recently?

It got infamously shit on initially, however now that enough time has passed- has anyone given it an honest try?

  1. The Talos Principle (so much better than Portal)
  2. Portal (Still a great game)
  3. Half Life..
  4. ..superseded by Black Mesa. The Xen portion adds a whole new game
  5. Unreal Tournament '99... still servers out there. I most play the big map sniper ones.
  6. Quake Live... still play it
  7. DayZ... Still one of the best ways to waste 8 hours
  8. No Mans Sky... Very relaxing exploration game
  9. Assassins Creed 2.. A lot of fond memories playing this game
  10. GTA.... I don't really pick a favorite.
I was so excited for no mans sky because of the procedural generation algorithms but then it shit the bed on release. I know they have worked hard on it since then, is it worth it?

It's still a little rough in my opinion but definitely not as God awful as launch. I remember watching my brother play it and I was shocked at how awful it was and let him know there is a day 1 patch he should download. His response was "this is the day 1 patch". My ribs were destroyed.

I agree 100%. I don’t play it anymore, but when it was new I had 7 buddies who played so we always had a full 6. It was great. But the team-oriented aspect makes it a nightmare to play alone and they worked real hard at squelching the initial hype of the game.

STEP OFF!
I played GTA Online for 4 hours last night. All I did was fly around doing stunts, pick up a few randoms and dropped them off to places they needed to go. Drove with a group of 12 to the beach and rode around on jet skis and scuba dived and checked out some coral reefs. Then we all went to the casino and drank champagne.

Why yes, I'm a loser.

Final Fantasy 7
Its close between this and 8 but 7 was my first RPG played it for ages. Nothing like Knights of the round with W-summon then going for a shit, walk and making a meal

Resident evil 2
No remakes, I hate collecting 30 clips, pumping them into one zombie and it gets back up.
The original had a shit load of replay value with the two characters and different scenarios

Silent Hill
The original. None of this “psychological horror “ bullshit from the second one. Just a guy looking for his daughter.
I had my psone chipped to play imported games, UK version had ghost babies removed after a school shooting in Dunblane Scotland

Knights of the old republic
The game that made me switch from sony, Why stick with a company who just seem to churn out shitty footballs games year in and out where the only difference is the names on the teams. And who doesn’t want to fuck about with a lightsabre

Halo
Same the last, looked amazing on my mates new xbox. Second one was a bit of shit with them make you play half the game as the arsebiter.

Morrowind
I’d never heard of the game but a Texan chick who’s tits I was trying to see on yahoo messenger recommended it to me. I played it for months before going anywhere near the main quest. A lot better than Oblivion, especially graphic wise. Chick went on to have niglets, never saw her diddies

The Last of Us
Its a good game with a great story and plot, same a Jew used his tricks to get rid of the talented people then fuck the franchise.

Assassins Creed Odyssey
There’s so many games in the series to choose from but Odyssey is a huge world to explore and no annoying shit like chase the flag to win a mask in AC2 or that fucking Chase the pirate in Black Flag.
Valhalla bored me though, a week in and still no real plot or what you’re doing.

Dunno if I’ve thought of ten but
Red Dead redemption 2
Just a fucking shame they don’t make DLC anymore

AC Odyssey i really enjoyed the influence and stuff over different regions and the ship battles were really cool too i thought. Valhalla i played through it was fine but i was excited for the “raid” stuff but it ended up feeling just scripted and too attached to getting through the story.

RDR2 I started playing before getting distracted by life shit but it was pretty slow in the beginning i thought. Also i FUCKING hate how looting requires molesting a dead body for 3 seconds. Im autistic when it comes to looting so if i kill 30 people i am compelled to loot everyone. I was really hoping that they would have made it immediate in the second one.

It took me ages to get into RDR2, Witcher 3 too. First time I couldn’t get into the game. I hadn’t had a PS4 in 18 months as the old one had died and my finances were shit. But I was bored one day and gave it another go.

WWAW FIFA no longer licensing EA sports? Its huge (maybe the end of EA)
Dont know about that but good fuck EA. Pulling that shit with unique codes for each disk or whatever they did to inhibit game sharing

I think you're the only one to put SoTN on their list.

I would have had I done more than 10. Such a great game, and the upside-down portion was mind blowing.
