The list of IPs was provided by fat Liz Clarke, it's just a list of visitors to her website.

So what happened was that reddit post and others linked to Liz Clarke's site, which was then utilized as a fat honeypot to harvest IP addresses.

If you're on the list all it "proves" is that you clicked a link to go to Fatso's (not him, the other one) website. It doesn't even prove you had a reddit account, let alone did anything to him, let alone something that would be enough to satisfy Krinsky.

I swear, these morons thought that you can convert an IP address into a social security number or something. They've been using IP addresses as threats for two years without actually knowing why that should be threatening. This all furthers my theory that fat people are stupid.

He could have imported it as is into his blog to block like half the redditards right there, but it just sat on his desktop for years. Didn't learn anything about the laws involved, did no research until Seth fed it to him. Guess his job kept him busy.
