I truly believe the only books he's ever read are dune and his own. Even his own books just got a cursory once over. If he could list twenty books he's read in the last ten years I would be very surprised. Everything he writes is like a Wikipedia movie synopsis. He probably doesn't even really watch movies except blockbuster capeshit, just reads scene by scene outlines and other people's opinions.

Same convo He told me that if any nigger or spic ever approached my side of the car in an aggressive manner. To lightly open the car door so that I could kick it open. That his father had done it in front of him.

Another time he told me when his family moved to a white place after a bullet came through their house during dinner. Him and a friend burned down a black families house when they moved on the block and how his father helped him.

When I first met him he had just finished recovering from being in a coma. He pissed off dudes he was moving furniture with so they tossed him down a large flight of steps. Then dumped him on a lawn.

Oh yeah just remembered this. My brother for some reason was collecting alcohol at the time. Like full bottles. We ended up losing the house. 7 years had passed since he lived there. When my brother was taking them down to pack them away. He noticed someone drank all of them. It was all replaced with some other kind of liquid. There was no question who had done it.

If anybody is looking for a book recommendation still, I'm reading The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, translation by Sri Swami Satchidananda. It's not fiction, but it Eastern religion-philosophy pretty good. Breath by James Nestor was good too, very quick to read. Punchin' out.
