- Mr. Tomlinson's feud started after members of the now-defunct Reddit site r/opieandanthony got his Twitter account suspended, causing him to threaten some bored trolls who never heard of him with a libel lawsuit. The trolls responded predictably.
- Mr. Tomlinson has been instructed many times by friends, family, police, and attorneys to stop engaging with his trolls, and that continuing to provoke them will cause him to be trolled even more. Mr. Tomlinson wilfully ignores this advice
- He would eventually file a defamation suit against 60 anonymous people which was dismissed with Mr. Tomlinson being ordered to pay $34,762.25 for opposing parties' attorney fees.
- He ended up paying $83,736.99 due to his unsuccessful attempts to dodge the court-ordered judgement, for which he faced jail time and contempt charges.
- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal (himself) to a troll.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never shown this video footage during any of his media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergencies (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

Car I can't afford? He drives a Jeep Cherokee. The highest floor I ever lived on was the 7th, and even that was a huge pain in the ass just coming and going. I enjoy leaving my house and being at my car instantly. And then simply parking in my spot when I'm back. THAT is true luxury, not having an 8 minute elevator wait and ride to your 10 min walk to your street parked car. Yeah. I'm raging in jealousy.

The guy has less vocal Joe Cumia siblings that he supports. He has insane building fees at Trump Tower. He has a trophy wife, two young kids, private schools, a chef, etc. Just the fees and taxes on his real estate are more than most of us make in a year. The value increase his real estate is largely irrelevant if he isn’t moving out of it. It’s more of a savings account if anything.

When O&A were doing all those shirts, it was a sweetheart deal for him. Elmo would design the art and have shirts printed. Ziggy from MyRadioStore would then immediately buy the entire run from him to sell. He never had to sell, ship, deal with returns, nothing. All he had to do was print a new design, and Ziggy would buy the run. There was a Virus tour stop where he wanted to bring merch and sell it. He was too cheap to have it shipped to the venue and too lazy to drive it himself. I drove it all the fuck there and back and he was still an asshole about it the entire fucking time. I've never seen somebody more angry and upset over being paid for shitty art on cheap tshirts. THAT'S who's probably a fuckin' bartender right now. I'd look him up but he was such a never-thought, I forget his actual name.
I was talking about his streams. He still does his videos and it costs him nothing and nets him a little. Ant does his shows and it costs him more than he makes. So Opie is making money streaming and Ant is spending money to keep the show for his ego..
Also unlike Castle Wopula his apartment and beach house aren't depreciating assets.

I hate to go on a tangent here. There's a ton of USA made guitars that are trash. I have a 90's Japan made LTD and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Probably not even a USA made ESP.

There’s a difference. Joe is buying American / Japanese manufactured guitars that are literally Chinese knock offs. He previously bragged about how you can get Fender guitars on Alibaba for 75% of the OG price and “They even sound like the real thing!!!”
Which, Ok, yeah. A casual guitar player doing cowboy chords probably wouldn’t know the difference. But as a self proclaimed “professional musician” it’s fucking ridiculous. He should absolutely be able to tell the difference not just in how the products made but how it sounds / performs.

Bruh. I really hate to agree, but I've been watching a lot of review videos on alibaba/chinese ebay guitars, and it's about 50/50 but a lot of them really aren't that bad and just need a little setup and new hardware.
Look at this for $222. Sure, you're gonna swap out the pickups and tuners asap, but if the nut is set right and the frets are manicured, shit is gorgeous. Look at that fucking binding. Flamed maple top? I'm SO fucking down to lose $222.
