Exactly. I have sleep trouble a lot but I just chill out and listen to a audiobook of something, no big deal. Trying to sleep when you can't is an awful idea.

Oh yeah, that's why it's a last resort. After I take that shit, I'm totally useless the next day unless I can just sleep in for as long as I like. I'm a terrible morning person as it is, but that shit turns my brain into mush. But, if it works, I sleep like a stone, without any freakish weird dreams or anything.

I know its a meme now but in college I was having a really bad allergic reaction so I took a shit tonne of benadryl and its the worst fucking feeling in the world, I have no idea how zoomers take it for fun now.

It's not a pleasant drug, and I can't imagine anyone thinking it's fun. I've used it for allergies too, but only in extreme situations. It does work, though.
