It’s one of those movies I’ve seen legitimately about 30 times and still usually throw it on every 2-3 years. I would definitely recommend revisiting it. For what is essentially a chamber piece it holds up remarkably well because of those performances and the dialogue. Buscemi is absolutely amazing in it. Roth, in hindsight, less so since his accent is kind of shitty but he nails the “I’m fucking dying!!” scenes.

Off the top of my head some films I saw recently that I preferred to Once Upon A Time in Hollywood (which I did like more than anything he's done since Jackie Brown) - The Wolf of Snow Hollow, Come To Daddy, Ready or Not, The Lighthouse, Midsommar, The Block Island Sound, Thunder Road, Joker, The Kill Team.

Thunder Road is one of the best films of the last 20 years.
I've watched it an embarrassing number of times.
Tangentially (tangenially?) Springsteen gets too much shit for being a hypocritical latte-liberal faggot. Which he most certainly is.
Still, he's a great songwriter.
