I went to U2 and I even like some of their stuff and as cool as the screen was my drunken buddy and my drunken self still managed to ruin a bunch of peoples time. If I was somehow locked in the Sphere with The Eagles people would think the blood and organs everywhere were part of the effects on the screen. “WOW, this guest drum solo is nuts! All the drums and cymbals look like the various Eagles members heads! He is really working that double bass drum Henley head!”

I don't really think anything is embarrassing if you're doing it for yourself. Like I don't get furries at all and I will laugh at them but I don't consider it embarrassing. What's embarrassing are the ones that pick up an identity because everyone else has it or because they're "supposed to", like Apple fanatics and others who supports brands no matter what, you know they don't give a shit about it deep down and when everyone around start changing their identities into some new thing, so will they. That and people who make politics their identity.

I agree with you. My issue is being a follower rather than having a genuine passion.

I don't get those who make things like Furries, BDSM, even a love lifestyle their whole personality - and I'll hold to the belief things like that should never be all someone is - but if it's something they're genuine about and it's only a PART of them... Have at it if you're not hurting anyone.

Life is rough, and even worse for some. My outlet is music, and when I'm frustrated with that and struggling to write, I turn to movies. Love classic cinema, but it's a small part of who I am. That also came from growing up watching them.

The hive mentality though, I've never understood it. I guess some people want to just belong to SOMETHING, but it sounds so hollow when you have no real feeling behind it.

Henley straight up aint singing. They’d been trying to keep people from filming for years and of course people eventually did. Some videos just came out where its obvious and people even analyzed the audio….same take for years. Joe Walsh sings most of his solo stuff but the high parts are piped in, so it’s real obvious when it switches lol. There were some good jew tube vids a couple months ago, not sure if they’re still up.

Nobody here likes the episodes past season 10. And everybody knows the show declined with season 7. It was simply great from season 2 - 5.

That's why the Stones have become so reliant on their backup singers. And let's be real, they hire some of the best, they hit the high notes and don't fuck up.

It's what happens when your voice gets shot with age, you need help. I'm glad Mick doesn't lip sync, but I know when I watch him, he can only go so far now.

Makes me glad my range wouldn't let me hit very high, I'd have a trailer park smokers voice by now.

I just saw the Stones a couple weeks ago and it was great. Doing blow, wife crying. Yeah Micks range aint the same but is more than presentable. I prefer real not as good over fake amazing everyday.

Maybe I'm forgiving being in the industry, but Mick's voice is fine. It's distinct enough that he doesn't have to hit high notes to still be good, whereas someone like Diamond David Lee Roth, who relied on high notes, is blatantly obvious that his voice is gone.

Mick also didn't abuse his body like a lot of other singers either. I like Metallica, but I know Hetfield struggles now because of his years of addiction.
