What are some embarrassing identities to have as an adult?

Guys who makes driving stick a huge part of their identity and act like it's a precious thing so won't teach anyone else on their car. I've always had manuals and taught multiple people on them and the clutch never got "burned out."

The way American dudes with manuals act, you'd think every time someone learns to drive overseas, the car has to get totaled due to burning out the clutch. Unless you put it in third gear and just rev the engine for 2 mins, the clutch will be fine. Also everyone's grandma knows how to drive stick so it really isn't bad ass.

This particular brand of douche is dying out quickly since electrics will never be stick shift

Don't mean to derail, but the brothermen want to know. What are your 3 favorite piston driven fighter planes, and why? If you have the time, that is.

F6F Hellcat. Fun to fly (virtually) and can out climb, out dive, and out gun anything tojo can throw at you. Just don't try to get into a turning fight with it.

P-51D just because it's fast and iconic

P-38 for for turning bombers into swiss cheese

Hmm, the Hellcat had both a great turn rate and turn radius compared to our other fighters, but pretty poor roll rate. Still better roll rate than the Zero, which we know it was designed to outperform. I didn't appreciate this turn ability until I watched Greg explain it in detail in this vid, about 58 minutes in, or before (for entire calculations).

Love the late war P-38 as well. Not a big Mustang fan.

Those Hellcats had good turning on paper, but the nip zeros could still out turn you in 2 or 3 passes and light you up with their cannons. The only thing you can really do with them is play to your strengths by keeping your energy up with diving attacks. They can't really follow you to the deck without breaking up and by the time a zero pilot knows what happened, you've leveraged your diving speed to put a ton of distance between you and them. The worst thing you can do is to try and hang in the combat egg with them.

I don’t know if it’s still a thing but collecting Funko Pops or being an adult that thinks it’s unique and quickly they can’t dress like an adult.
Gas stations, airports, hardware stores, any retailer. They all sell them right at the counter. Company must be making next to nothing for that shelf space premium. Entire thing has to be some gay psyop on American culture.

People who think EVs will replace gasoline engines in our lifetime.
Where did I say that? TELL ME, FUCKER. But EVs and the push toward them is obviously reducing the number of manuals even available for purchase. Go to a dealership right now and try to buy a 2024 manual. Do it, FUCKER!!!

Driving stick makes it difficult to text and drive. Automakers had no choice.

Ya but can you rev match so you don't have to use the clutch?

Civil War reenactors...nice re-staging a Jewish Cockfight, stupids. Same for World War memorabilia collectors and "history buffs".

If you are a serious student of history and you dont conclude conspiratorially, or have jewish-themed questions, you're not doing it right/you're just a clown.

We can ALL relate to that.

Mitsubishi Zero - Because I appreciate the sophistication in simplicity.
FMA IA 58 Pucará - IDK if it's a "fighter" per se, but stop busting my balls.
IAR 80 - Romanians (and Yugos) are not rich to say the least, but they always punch above their weight with producing their own stuff and it always impresses me.
