Interesting. Gotta respect the Corsair for sure. I'm a big fan of the ol' P-40E,F&N versions (often underrated), the F6f Hellcat, and the Bf 109F4, late G/K versions. Not a fan of Soviet stuff in general. Thank you, fellow educated brotherman.
Yak-18/CJ-5/CJ-6 deserves an honorable mention in that it's still used practically.
An-2 I really like (not a fighter but it deserves some love) also still used.

Don't mean to derail, but the brothermen want to know. What are your 3 favorite piston driven fighter planes, and why? If you have the time, that is.

Bangladesh AF (lol) still using the ch-6 as of pretty recently at least.
