Lol I know exactly what you're talking about. Those quasi-pyramid schemes did well after the Recession because college graduates were so desperate for jobs.
But even still, who goes to an interview - or moves to Florida - without researching the company and reading reviews?

I was contacted by a company called Atlantic Enterprises or some shit when I was about to graduate and after 10 minutes of Googling realized they'd rebranded 3 times in 2 years and were a notorious "marketing scheme" pony show. I actually went to the interview just to show him their Reddit reviews and get their side of it. The executive assistant was married to the owner and they were the only two people in the office. As soon as I said the word "Reddit" they dismissed me. It made me so happy.

Looking back it was silly to waste an afternoon and miss class just to troll a fake company, but at least I didn't move to Florida.

Yeah I went to college in FL right around the time Pat was there and I graduated right as the economy shit the bed. Luckily I got a job in TV production shortly after graduating but before I got that I was looking around at who was hiring and being a dumb 22 year old I applied for jobs that were all kinds of shady because I didn’t know any better. I remember one was a “Credit Solutions” company (credit made it sound legit) that I think involved getting people to sign up for credit cards door to door, one was a time share company that specialized in getting people “out” of timeshares (probably into another scam) and yes, Amway type scams of getting people to buy their groceries and other products from you and you make more money with more people you get, etc. - these jobs all were vague and sounded too good to be true which is why it’s funny piggy picked up and moved to FL for one. Dropped out of college for it! What a retard!

I at least got a “legit” job off those sites and that was nightclub security for a new club that opened in Orlando.

Did Pat say he had only been with Ade for 2 months when they moved to Florida? Or did I mishear one of his many inconsistencies? He's previously said when he started dating Ade he asked for her parents permission like he's some gentleman caller coming to woo a fair maiden, and now he's stealing her out of state within weeks.
