The lawyers def took it on contingency. They already did all those depositions. The case is pretty high profile. But yea they wanted the settlement for sure and their bluff was called. They probably realize the case sucks so they should fold their hand. It’s up to Pat though if he wants to go all the way. Maybe he ups the contingency award to them or something and pushes for it.
