This is going to take all fucking year.
Season 7 is going to be a loooooooot of exposition and world building with scattered, short bursts of intense action.

Especially if Rick decides not to show up for his deposition and drags this out forever like he did the Debtor Arc.
Yes. Courts are slow. Did you just get here?

isn't incurring in some costs and asking for a jury trial exactly what you'd do if you want to have leverage to negotiate the plea deal?

Not saying I think a plea deal is the likely outcome, I'm a retard who knows nothing, just not reading this as a basis for believing a deal is off the table and the city is going full speed ahead to a trial

almost every possible outcome is funny anyway

Yes. The lawyers would threaten to go to trial. I figured they were past that stage though but not sure. You usually don’t do all those depositions for nothing. They cost like 5k a pop.

A plea deal is for criminal cases.

Keep in mind this is how Rick looked when he was in the most comfortable situation possible, in his own house getting hand fed EZ questions from a reporter. Now imagine what he'll look like when he's in a court room with a highly paid City of Milwaukee lawyer cross examining him while he SWEATS profusely.
