Pat may have had a chance of a quick settlement if he just named Evans and the PD.
He has now named TWENTY officers in the suit. Including people who possibly didn't even attend his address.
I'm sure the union had something to say about throwing 20 of their officers under the bus over a FFwBT who can't behave himself

It almost makes me think they must be getting funding from Pat's corner because they wouldn't want to waste their time by adding 20 people and further sinking their chances of a settlement if it was a contingent job.

The ONLY reason I can think is that in the beginning the lawyers were going solely on Pats version of events.
Now they are pretty deep into it and realise it isn't a slamdunk case but its either cut losses now or see where the FFwBT goes with it.
There is no way they can't be asking for money now though, preparing for trial against 20 different officers is a lot of work.

I believe someone would have to live in Milwaukee (maybe the county) to have grounds for a FOIA request. Different states have different laws, but generally a jurisdiction only has to honor requests from residents.

I can't get over his and Jackie's delusions that they're the targets of some vast evil conspiracy. Nobody gives a shit about an AirBNB host in Milwaukee or an unemployed woman in Puerto Rico. The lawyers def took it on contingency. They already did all those depositions. The case is pretty high profile. But yea they wanted the settlement for sure and their bluff was called. They probably realize the case sucks so they should fold their hand. It’s up to Pat though if he wants to go all the way. Maybe he ups the contingency award to them or something and pushes for it.

Regardless of whatever deal they had or whatever payment plan they may have arranged, it's highly doubtful these attorneys are going into the trial phase without a massive upfront payment from Fatso and The Frump. Hopefully the idiot mother in law takes out a home equity loan or something equally stupid to cover it (and loses her ass) because a trial would be rib shattering hilarity.

It is still baffling to me their financial situation. She must have some inheritance or her cunt of a mom is more wealthy than we think.
