the fucking nigger elves and nigger dwarves are just so forced. we see a group of elves who are all white, and then one is black, and he’s the one the story follows. we see a group of dwarves who are all white, but the son of the king is married to a black one. we see a group of hobbits or whatever who are all white, but the story follows the three black ones.

the ebony elf is the worst one by far though. everywhere he goes all the evil whites give him weird looks and are racist bc he’s an ELF but teehee he’s also black so it’s just like the real world! and OF COURSE his love interest is a white woman

edit to add the fact that i find the main elf lady extremely attractive and if she ends up getting blacked i’m done with the show.

The dialog is shit. Every main character is a woman, galadriel is annoying and unlikable. Elrond looks like Walmart brand Darryl from the walking dead. Lots of elves have a fade going on for some reason. Any time they show a group of white people the camera cuts to a token black, just so you know they are woke.
Every main on the show is an idiot who must be guided by a woman . The dwarves are cartoonish. The best scenein the show (still not good) between 2 males still had a woman interjecting and fixing the issue.

Middle Earth, the mystical world built by a genius 100 years ago, must reflect what the real world in 2022 looks like because of (((reasons))) - it’s a fundamentally retarded way to do it.

It’s very powerful stuff, moving and powerful. It’s subtle so you might miss it but all of the white human race are bigoted towards the black elf because he’s an elf…. But also, it’s because he’s black and that’s what life is like now for the underprivileged. You might not get that, it really doesn’t make a big show of it for no reason all the time.

When I saw the princess black dwarf, I cried it was so beautiful. So moving. So powerful. It’s time the works of a man who died 100 years ago, set in a mythical made up world reflected the real world in 2022 for no reason. Powerful.

It’s been a while since I read the silmarillion and stuff but I’m pretty sure the wizards, Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast and the two blue ones - were sent to Middle Earth to help the people fight Sauron by advising and guiding them and not actively involving themselves much. Which is why they were sent in the forms of unassuming old men. They didn’t crash land like superman, 10 feet tall and young.

And I think Sauron talked his way out of being punished and exiled like Morgoth, and actually tried to repent, became afraid they wouldn’t let him, and then slowly built his power in secret, he wasn’t on the run as the dark lord like this show.

I mean obviously none of it matters, because it’s going to be fucking shit anyway.
