And having ESD there sort of made it look like they were bringing back the old team. And IHW was legitimately funny in the beginning when Aaron would do characters.

But it didn't take long for all of the talent to bail. For AntH's reputation/actions to drive away all of the guests. And for him to lazily morph the show into "Nana repeats what she heard on Fox News this morning"

And the remaining subs seem to be folks who actually found AntH because of his racism and blind Trump cheerleading. The O&A and comedy fans left long long ago.

No fucking way was it ever 50k. I don’t think O&A were topping 100k listeners during their last 2 years so that would mean over half of O&A listeners subbed to Anthony. Its just not possible. This would also mean from the first month alone Anthony pulled in $4 million dollars. Also not possible.

At max he probably had not even 10k. Maybe 8. And as you pointed out the subscribers dwindled with each new scandal. As you also pointed out this exodus grew when Anthony started running infomercials…however…if Anthony were pulling in $4 million from the first year alone, why would he decide to run ads?

That to me shows that even within the first year CM was on the decline financially. Even as stupid as Ant is, he wouldn’t do paid ads for the extra money if it meant losing subscribers…unless that “extra money” is so important because you HAVE no subscribers.

It's been brought up a lot, but bears repeating what a mistake it was for Ant to not partner with Gavin on a new platform. They were in the same boat, have similar view and audiences. As a co-founder of VICE, Gavin knew what it would take to start a new media platform.

Of course, Ant was never willing to put in the long hours to start a new venture. Not when he could play video games. So Gavin goes off and starts Censored.tv.

He made no serious attempt to pull Jim to the network. He made no serious attempt to pull ANYONE to the network or build it at all. He hired Keith because “Whatever. Just do it for me.”. Then when Keith left he IMMEDIATELY got Erock to fill the role. And as i’ve said before…he basically expects these handlers to be a responsible version of him, omnipotently knowing what he thinks or thinking exactly like him and making the decisions he thinks is best…while not communicating anything about what those ideas are or would look like or how they’d be implemented.
