Luis doesn’t understand that his studio isn’t “Show biz”. Most people won’t work insane hours for shit pay in expensive ass NY just so they can say “I’ve rubbed elbows with middling comics and porn stars!”

On the other side of that coin Bobby didn’t understand that managing a podcast studio you don’t own isn’t going to lead to a livable wage in America’s most expensive city. Gas digital isn’t Comedy Central or NBC, there’s no ladder to climb, no higher paying positions waiting for you once you’ve worked hard and paid your dues. Almost all of the employees there are from rich families that subsidize them or they’re LOS losers that are teetering on homelessness . It’s no place for a regular working man.

Lately whenever I'm bored I've been watching breakdowns of these kinds of podcasts and comedians (Podcast Cringe, 2lazy2try) and it is insane. None of them even seem to try to be funny. They're all just getting involved in drama and grifting and selling shit and doing ads. It is mind-blowing that anyone watches/listens to this shit. Andrew Schultz gets hundreds of thousands of views per episode and there's literally no humor in them. Same with Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura. Who in the fuck is listening to podcasts hosted by comedians wherein they aren't even attempting to be funny?
