La FamigliaJoe thinks he is too good for shopping at Aldi’s
What’s especially galling here is that Joe is a grown man who allows another grown man to pay all his bills and he’s still complaining about grocery pricesI never really understand the grocery store ranters. Especially the ones who claim it’s too expensive to eat clean.
You can buy big bags of rice/pasta for next to nothing, vegetables/spices/chicken breast isn’t expensive vs junk food. It takes the same time to prepare as crappy food like frozen pizzas.
I know the answer is people just want to eat badly and blame it on outside factors, so I’m taking rhetorically.
So you're saying anyone can do it?I never really understand the grocery store ranters. Especially the ones who claim it’s too expensive to eat clean.

You go? I have been getting it delivered since 2019. I cant remember last time I was inside a grocery store. I will pay $50+ more on the total bill just so I dont ever deal with a queue, the day they figure out how to pick up veggies from the farmer's market for me, its a wrap.I don’t even look at the prices when I go, I can’t control it and I need them. I know I have enough money to cover them because I work a skilled full time job. It does suck how expensive they are and it does hurt, but he’s 75 years old and was given hundreds of thousands of dollars in handouts throughout his life by his little brother.
It reflects more badly on him than anybody else.
On the occasions when I do pick up strictly staples, I'm often surprised how cheap everything is. If you go to your regular grocery store or Wal-Mart and pick up a family size pack of chicken thighs, a pound of rice, frozen vegetables, eggs, milk and bread....you can eat well and surprisingly cheap in this country.***I never really understand the grocery store ranters. I do that too but sometimes have to use Afterpay or Klarna or Affirm so I’m not blowing like $200 all at once. It’s insane we have to put groceries on layaway these daysYou go? I understand a Motel 6 maid with four kids probably has a different perspective and prices absolutely have gone up.
***I should clarify I'm referring to the United States of America, since this board has turned majority Eurotrash and it's more expensive to eat there.
When I've been in peak shape I basically just eat rice, chicken and cottage cheese.
I love baked chicken and rice and it has nothing to do with being frugal. I can eat that 4-5 days out of the week and be cool with it.When I've been in peak shape I basically just eat rice, chicken and cottage cheese.
I’m pretty house poor right now. Two mortgages plus a fiance in law school will do that to a brothermanI don’t mean this to sound like I’m fives sinking you, because I’m not rich at all and don’t claim to be - but you really need to spread the cost of your grocery payments?
Don’t do that, just buy longlife cheap bulk food like rice and noodles. That’s what I did for years when I was struggling with money.

This is peak retardation on display.
This absolute anus is complaining about making on payments on groceries that he's having DELIVERED.
You have TWO mortgages and you're making payments on delivered groceries? You're literally retarded, and living way beyond your means. Spending like a moron doesn't mean the economy sucks. It means you're stupid as shit. No different that Joe and his Uncle Jizz trips. No shit, no bit, you should be embarrassed of your own stupidity.
I’m paying for my apartment and my families house.
