It’s a pain in the ass to cancel. I had to stay on the line for three hours to cancel. Maybe it got better in the last couple years but it took that long for me. I think most SXM subscribers are the types that don’t notice $30 or whatever is missing from their bank account each month. Even then they’ll keep offering to lower the amount but the $4 a month for six months will return back to the full amount. Then you got to go back and cancel again.

I got laid off from my tech job 51 weeks ago (while I was on holiday vacation!!)

Out of morbid curiosity, I checked out their LinkedIn today, and half the staff got whacked in the last year.

The biggest AM radio station on the west coast just eliminated their entire news department.

A place I worked at in 2022 had sixty five positions open. They now have zero.

Either rates come down (they won’t) or the carnage continues.

Interest rates are so high now, the U.S. spends more on interest than it spends on the entire military.
