Not so much beta but it did bum me out when he wouldn't catch a show reference and go with it. One time I said something like, "the guy's a fawken problem" about someone (Pat?) and got nothing. One time @NortheastPhilly made a show reference and got nothing. I figured it was because he wanted to keep the flow moving and go on to the next topic. But uh.. show references are the topic so whatevs.
I was in a chat with other users who could attest (not that I'm asking) that for the longest I agreed to do shows if no one else volunteered. I was concerned I'd be overstaying my welcome and have you guys get sick of me if I were on too much. 'Keep them wanting more', ya know? I had my fingers crossed that others would volunteer but when they said no I didn't want to leave the guy hanging so I obliged. I did have fun doing the Hildy episode (that might have been my last) so I must be honest and say joined in because I wanted to. The plan was to go after his pozzed wife so it was more than incentive for me to unsheath my tiny kitty claws.
