This is correct. It’s been obvious since he referred to the board as his “crew”. He seems like a nice guy, has a decent life, and even though he never really defended her, appears to love Flavia. There is no reason to risk losing all of that, if you don’t think of the people here as your “friends”. I’ll defend Dan a bit and say it must suck to be ostracized from a place you’ve been apart of for 5+ years. He seriously just can’t quit us.

It's a shame he turned out to be such a deranged, vindictive asshole because I did actually enjoy the early episodes of NPS. Once a week, an hour long was fine. The second he started doing multiple "emergency podcasts" and making them 3 hours long, it just fell to pieces.

Then again, being the thin-skinned little bitch he is, it was always going to end in disaster.
