Louis had me laugh my balls off twice on ONA, the story about him trying to read old timey books to his daughter and being unable to avoid Nigger Jim and the most likely origin to the word nigger.

Don’t feel like trying to find the comment in this post to reply to it specifically but whoever said joking about kenny’s son is too far is a massive faggot. I’m not even defending anth or anything, but basically every joke kenny made on the show was about dark shit. Kenny gleefully worked for the show for years when they made fun of other people’s dead kids and he had no problem physically bullying interns. This just isn’t true. If that were the case, a complete square like Opie would still be friends with these comics and none of them like him. Cumia still associates with some of them. Most of them, even the regulars, were just doing it to sell tickets.

The respect that Rogan gives to O&A should be what other comics like Burr, CK, Vos and Bobby give but Cumia is toxic and Opie pissed off most of them because he started paying hacks $700 per day to do OpieRaqio after not paying any comics a dime after a decade of regular appearances.

If Opie had given the Carl/Vic money to Bobby and Vos his show would have been a hit.

No, I am suspicious that burr is a hypocrite and said myself that it’s very unlikely that he didn’t know who Ant was while he was using the Opie and Anthony show to further his career. So I agree with you that if the Opie and Anthony show were still on, a lot of these guys would still be plugging their gigs on that show even if they knew what kind of person Anthony is. Joe mentions O&A but mostly Cumia every couple months, even post Spotify deal. And he had him on several times after the controversy. And they still hang out occasionally.

Rogan will most likely be waking away from Spotify when the deal is up so I expect a Cumia appearance in the future.
