I can't see him not showing up. For the debtors exam it was different because he knew he was going the next day to file the payment plant which would make the debtors exam unnecessary. Since the court date is on a Thursday I really hope he doesn't so when they pick him up the next day he has to spend the weekend in jail till he can see a judge.

Yeah I worded that with too many sarcastic negations. Meaning why would it matter if pat has advanced notice mulligans will be there as an independent journalist. He has to show up.

It shouldn't matter but it must be driving Pat nuts that Dan will be there. In Pat's delusional mind the fact one of the stlakers will be at court has to be the most humiliating thing that could happen. The fact he has a month to think about it has to be stressful on him. I wouldn't be surprised if in his mind he uses the fact Dan is there as an excuse for not showing up.

This isn't the 70's or 80's anymore. They can have a zoom/live stream with a judge several times a day and on weekends.

I think the fact he already skipped 2 court ordered dates plus the fact this judge is a hard ass really hurts him in that regard. I could see the judge ordering them to hold him till he can be brought in front of him.
