should put out an open call for people who want to be on NPS, Boomia just sucks ass and Dan can only monologue so much (and it gets really repetitive, and then some).
Just ask for any funsters who want to be on the Friday podcast that week and bring one or two of them on for the full ep, only dropping them if they're shit. He'll have a good rotation of talking to different funsters week-through-week and likely find a (much better) co-host/regular-guest in due time.
IDK why he's so hesitant and barely ever uses the Nanaphone, and drops callers after 90 seconds whenever he does. Monologue podcasts from anyone are always shit, need to have at least 1 other person there for the sake of discussion.
NPS has a lot more potential, but only if it expands. High hopes!

Instant ways to improve NPS that Dan will never undertake:
Structure the show more like a hang…like O&A. Talk about the topics of the day…don’t just autistically read a court document and riff about unrelated shit. How about you actually have jokes in there.
More caller interaction and calls in between topics. Extremely hard and probably breaks the flow but more interesting. Except Dan can’t riff with anyone not Boomia level retarded.

If you had at least one person with a personality and humor the show would be better. And it would be even better with two. That's how the first few episodes were, and they were hit-or-mostly-miss. Some people who were (still) hilarious on the Forums couldn't carry the funny over to the podcast.Dan
Awkward and clunky is being generous. To Dan's credit, he tried -- but he wasn't seaworthy enough to captain any ship.
Dan's, without question, one of the top contributors to LitCrit and I give him major respect for even attempting a show, but I don't think having funsters come in studio for a hang will reduce the ho-hum factor of NPS.
Not everyone who's a killer on the forums can carry that heat over to a live format.
