Hey now, last time Joe flew he got the airport a whole 30 minutes before his flight began boarding and thanks to the F/Ns, Biden, Libtards, etc. he missed his flight! He likely relied on his skills learned during his 9 months of Air Force duty to tactically plan the trip to and out of Islip. Not just anybody can figure out how airports work.

Nice leaving your bethrothed and teen daughter at home while you treat yourself to an all expense paid (by your younger siblings) vacation down in SC, stupid. He worked 15 hours last week, this is a well deserved relaxing trip for a hard worker!
I’m sure money has been a touchy subject around the Joe home - he lost money on the cruise ship, TGI Fridays are closing all over his area, and he’s not close at all to affording retirement - he’s older than my parents who have retired and are loving retirement life (because they actually worked their whole lives and put money away etc) but Joe has to lug his equipment around here and there for a couple bucks until he drops dead.
Perfect time to go down south and beg your younger siblings for money / help!
This whole trip is going to be him rattling his cup for handouts. Its going to refuel his fantasy of moving out of NY. He will come home and still be sad that he cant afford to make the move and he will be stuck in NY for most of the holidays.
He came home and went straight to Atlantic City to lose $500 and then went to Vegas to lose some more money a few months later.
It’s 100% this - he’s gonna drop hints how it’s killing him to play these dopey shows every weekend for very little money in hopes Ant & Dawn come up with some plan to “bring” Joe down to SC. He’s gonna cry how Long Island is hell and run by libtards and how they’re making it so he can’t afford to leave. He thinks since he’s the oldest it’s the younger one’s job to take care of him in his older age like he’s a parent.

Joe sees that he’s back on radio so he MUST be making huge money just like the prime earning ONA years in his dumb cow mind. It’s a once a week show on an AM station - he probably makes decent money but of course nowhere near ONA days and Joe won’t believe otherwise. Wonder how Joe will try and claim “we made a pact” when this radio gig had nothing to do with Joe dropping off a tape. Imagine being the oldest sibling and assuming your younger siblings will support you financially because you’re family.
Joe thinks this trip will be start of Ant / Dawn getting things together for Joe to move down (of course with them paying / doing everything) so he can live the retired life with them even though he’s broke and has nothing saved for retirement / never paid in.
