The city wasn’t going to pay for stadium upgrades or a new stadium whenever they needed/wanted it.

That’s why all the CA teams are leaving except the ones where mega billionaires pay for the shit themselves like they did in LA.

Unfortunately the vote in that was city only and not the county. I lived a 10 minute drive from the stadium and couldn't vote to use tax money to fund it.
