not quite, I've got some suits (not fitted) but I rarely rare them. day-to-day I generally don't wear my nice clothes 'cus I like tinkering in the workshop & I'm self-employed.
Stocks & crypto are a big yes tho'.

@Wisconsin.gov are you familiar with the teachings that men shouldn't wear gold or silk? I believe because it is thought to be emulating women. At the levantine restaurant I frequent, the workers wear only silver wedding bands presumably for this reason.

With that in mind, it's surprising how many Mohemeddans you see decked out in gold chains and rings. I'm wondering if it's not widely known....

At 16 I took my first solo flight, and was on Swiss Air...it was on this flight that I had the kavorka, because one cute af Blondie flight attendant kept checking on me and when it was time for meals, she gave me the wine list.

Upto that point I thought wine was like grape juice or koolaid or sumptin, and I wanted to impress the woman, so I ordered the one wine I knew it's name: a Bordeaux.

When it arrived, she was hovering over me and I took the wine glass and tried to look and act like I knew what's up...while maintaining eye contact, I chugged the wine, and immediately regretted it as it burned my throat, my nostrils, everything and I snorted out wine thru my nose and kinda semi puked

Needless to say, her estimations of plummeted etc

Based one what I know from the one muslim friend I have, it's probably not exclusive to one country. One week he's going to strip clubs and getting kicked out because he doesn't speak english that well and didn't know it was a brothel, the next he has a wife and can't do things like that anymore.

Also boq, that story about the one time you drank was pretty embarrassing but at least you didn't crash your car into a pond after a couple of beers. All I'm gonna say about that *sniff*

I didnt need to go thru that, but it's happening in real time with a young cousin of mine. Our aunts found a suitable lady from Montreal, and the marriage is happening April.
