Is getting into the inner workings of the electronics difficult with such large digits? I'll hang up and listen
Most old gear just needs deoxit and a good cleaning. If you can’t get it running that way recap it (YouTube will guide you) if you’re working with tubes just replace all the tubes and see what you have. It’s fun to see old electronics come back to life. If you’re finding good equipment or spending money for it, find a variac to control the voltage when powering up.

As for where to find stuff, tell your friends you might be able to fix their old family stereo, they’ll drop most of it off at your shop

Golf, although it’s definitely an investment. It’s not cheap by any means and it’s a huge time commitment to finally hit the ball consistently but it’s incredibly gratifying once you start to see improvements in your game.

During the summer, I play multiple times a week, usually by myself or with a complete rando. If I’m by myself, I’ll put on the latest episode of NPS or an old O&A and loff and loff and loff as I hack all over the course. It’s incredible

how do you play with a rando? They have times you just sign up and get paired with someone?

I'm intrigued by a guy called 'Sue Lightning' on ONAforums; , he seems interested in Schizo retards, but he also flashes flirty pics in private chat thinking we cant see them (we all loff at them all elsewhere).. he's got nice hair but occasionally dresses like Steve Jobs - LOL. - what a tard!

He seems to like complete idiots, & since I'm retarded, I kinda feel left-out... but anyway, I've got hotter guys elsewhere.

I'm soo tired, need to sleep.
G'night!

A lot of it depends on what time you play. I tend to play in late afternoon / early evenings so there’s way less people out there and it’s pretty rare a 4some will tee off at 5PM. A lot of the time you just get paired up with someone before you tee off or you catch up to the guys in front of you on the course.

One time I played with one of the Mexicans on the grounds crew who was going out after his shift. He spoke no English and his bag was comprised of lost clubs he found on the course but he was unbelievably good. He actually missed a hole in one by half an inch on a par 3. He was cool as shit but I think he ended up getting deported so I never saw him again.

So it was a happy ending

How much does a set of clubs run? Like entry level style. I'm kinda tall, and have made the mistake of playing with short clubs, but i am not good at all

i had a customer offer me a star trek pinball machine for free just because i remarked that it looked collectible. i never got around to picking it up. are those worth anything?
dude, check online and see. if you can still pick the thing up. it is a lot of effort and possibly wasted time though if the machine is garbage. im sure some fan out there would buy it

i’m seeing anywhere from $2k-$6k. it was in really good shape & only needed a few minor parts replaced. even had the manual still. i’m not gonna fuck with it as far as refurbishing but it still seems like it’s too good to pass up even selling it as-is

Is looking on ebay/craigslist the way to go?
I got a complete set of old clubs for free, my kids would use them and stop into the pro shop every time they played and buy a club out of the used club bin for $10. The crappy set I got would have cost $1500 as it is set up now. The only original club is one putter and the bag is still the same
