I was being serious. There's nothing more rewarding than helping your kid learn to read well, or all having dinner together and asking them about their day.

I take my nephew to soccer games, and we build models together, and I go to concerts with my niece and teach her guitar.

They are good kids, I play fortnite with my nephew sometimes but it’s a treat, they don’t live on iPads and games and screens, they are active and do things.

My friend brags about how many hours in games his kids have. It’s insane.

Awesome sass u guys so funny

Are there any real answers.
I like buying old and broken gear and restoring it, usually synths. Working on another minikorg 700s right now with some broken keys and a couple broken connections ^_^

Is getting into the inner workings of the electronics difficult with such large digits? I'll hang up and listen

Sort of, but its also an art different from philsophy.

I tried to get into philosophy more but the usual people who love that stuff are mostly unpleasant lesbian types and it ruins it for me.

Arguing over what the human condition is when they are on welfare or baristas.

Where do you get the components from?
Depends how old the instrument is and what's wrong, syntaur or the manufacturer a lot of times will be able to point in the right direction. There's a plethora of vintage synth shops in the tristate that let me know if someone comes in with a unit for scrap, also some forums that people trade on.

This one just needed a couple resistors soldered back on and some keys from reverb.com

This will be increasingly more vital, as everything becomes cheap shit built in China, maintaining old stuff that is much better will be the only way to have quality products.

It’s pretty much everything, 100k new cars are now pieces of cheap plastic shit.

Find the video of that guy using a hammer. It’s the most Jewish thing ever.

They think they’re awesome rich famous people but they can’t do basic DIY work and just pay others, they are profound losers.
I saw it. Almost as funny as Apatow's first pitch

Gardening/landscaping is a really rewarding passion. I mentioned in another thread that I graded my yard, so my backyard is a blank slate with a drainage pond. Plan is to add a pond liner fabric, poke holes in it as needed to drain, and pump the water to keep away mosquitoes. I've also added native plants that bloom in Nov, Dec, Jan, and Mar (if all goes well) to benefit the pollinators. Either this fall or next spring I'll add raised planters for vegetable/herbs.

From there, I'll never be done. Always looking for something new to try, something to improve, a new way to better the soil. PFG way to pass the time if you ask me.
