There's a whole market of indie games that are made to look like PS1. I prefer low res horror games to high definition shit. Maybe that's due to older games having more with creativity through adversity and there was much more effort put into them.

- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal (himself) to a troll.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never shown this video footage during any of his media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergencies (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

RE2-3 got upscaled by fans, RE1 is still in development. They took the Gamecube ports and cleaned up all the backgrounds.
I can't play anything but these versions now.
There's also one for RE4 that was done by I believe one guy that cleaned up every texture in the entire game.
Also, there's a similar one for Silent Hill 2. I played it recently and it looks great. Although that game still looks good for 2001.

That's why older games are my preferred choice over modern ones, they still understood gaming is supposed to be fun and a escape from reality.
I spent hundreds of hours on SOTN. I remember grinding for an entire day just to get some faggot ring that had like a 0.0001% drop rate. Incredible game.
When I first played it I did so without any guide or research. I was fawkin’ blown away when I read Game Players or some shit and found out I wasn’t even 50% done and there was a whole entire inverted castle.

I believe the Saturn version had some superior transparency effects and shit too as it was better at the 2D sprites than the PS.
