My screenplay. It’s called “Tiny Tim and the last temptations of fedora Reddit know it all retards”
Scene: A street in a dystopian city during the end times. The sky is darkened, the sun dim, and strange phenomena are occurring—earthquakes, plagues, and ominous signs. Yet, one individual remains resolutely convinced that everything is fine. They speak to a small group of frightened onlookers.
Person: [with an air of confidence] “Look, I don’t understand why everyone is panicking. These so-called ‘plagues’? They’re just natural cycles! We’ve had earthquakes before, haven’t we? We’ve had diseases before. This is just science doing what it does. It’s progress!”
Onlooker 1: “But what about the rivers turning to blood? And the locusts with faces like men—”
Person: “Rivers turning red? Probably just an algae bloom. Happens all the time in polluted areas. And those… uh, locusts? A mutation, maybe? You think that means the world is ending? Come on. It’s just nature adapting.”
Onlooker 2: “But the prophecy—the signs—this is Revelation! The Antichrist is—”
Person: [interrupting] “The Antichrist? You mean the global leader bringing peace and order? You call that evil? Do you remember how chaotic things were before? Famine, wars, collapse? Now we have food distribution, universal currency, stability! People are working together like never before.”
Onlooker 1: “At what cost? We can’t even buy or sell without that mark! That’s not freedom—it’s control!”
Person: [scoffs] “Control? It’s organization. If anything, this ‘mark’ has made life easier. You don’t have to carry cash, there’s no theft, no fraud. It’s efficient. Honestly, you should be thanking them for making life better.”
Onlooker 2: “But it’s against God! The warnings were clear—”
Person: “God? Which God? The one who’s supposedly letting all this happen? The one who’s punishing innocent people for no reason? You think this destruction is righteous? No, no. If there’s a higher power involved, it’s the one fixing things, not tearing them apart.”
Onlooker 1: [pleading] “Can’t you see? This is the deception we were warned about. Evil looks like good—”
Person: “Or maybe what you call ‘deception’ is just progress that your outdated beliefs can’t handle. Look around. The world’s not ending—it’s changing. And for the better. I suggest you stop living in fear and embrace it.”
The group falls silent, torn between fear of the unfolding chaos and the unsettling charisma of this person’s conviction. In the distance, a trumpet-like sound reverberates through the air, but the person dismisses it as thunder.
