If you really need understanding on something, then "God" will provide you the means to understand it and you'll recognize that immediately. That's just my own personal experience though, "God" will help me if I'm willing to help myself. That’s something that makes me feel absolutely sick with grief and fear, which is gazing upon God is more like being blinded by an all consuming fire of unclouded judgment.

Fearing God is the first step to wisdom, which these types don’t understand.

I am not afraid of much in my real life, but I am terrified of God.

I know without any ambiguity that when I am judged I am going to Hell for my actions and continued actions unless I am saved by grace alone.

When Moses spoke to the Lord he had to be reassured he wouldn’t immediately die, and when he climbed the mountain to speak to Him it was a terrifying aspect to behold, even animals who crossed the boundary had to be stoned to death. Everybody who interacts with angels has to be instructed to stop being afraid.
