I genuinely asked. I'm more open minded than I was 20 years ago. I have no answers and don't pretend to know anything about the nature of reality. I've been looking into determinism lately and that seems kind of true to me but I can't say for a fact free will is an illusion. The whole ufo thing has really made me question everything I thought I knew.

I just asked God, what should I do? And felt absolutely nothing.

If you really need understanding on something, then "God" will provide you the means to understand it and you'll recognize that immediately. That's just my own personal experience though, "God" will help me if I'm willing to help myself. Whatever "God" is won't just give you the answers or just automatically answer your prayers, you have to be in true need of something that isn't just materialistic or really unnecessary to your life and wellbeing. Again, just my own experiences...
