Yeah there's a whole fuckload of them. If there's a river or a lake there's a bunch of beavers in it. I've never seen anything like this though. I've also never sightfished on the ice because it seems dangerous to leave a big fucking open hole someone could fall into whether you're shallow or not.

I think they might ice fish in the upper part of the US, I've never seen that shit in my life. Seen plenty of beavers though, VA is part of their natural habitat. We used to hunt out of the back porch of a small abandoned house in the woods on my aunt's property, and it overlooked a pond with a lot of beaver activity

They're fucking nuisance cunts but it is cool to see them do their thing. I used to have to pick a dude up who was even more in the middle of nowhere than me and some days I couldn't even get to him from beavers flooding the road. It was a narrow as fuck little shit road with water on either side too so I'd have to reverse all the way back with my big Ram van, which was nerve wracking. I'll never forgive them for taking over my favourite piss break spot on MY river.
