Smitty takes hits better than any skilled player I can remember. The way he knows how to absorb contact at this age, even at Alabama, is uncanny

Watching the lil fellers we had for slot WRs in NE like Wes Welker, Edleman, Amendola, etc get punished and hurt all the time made me wonder if guys his size could have longer careers. Smitty just got laid out by a DE with a running start and was up again before he was. Just amazing physical awareness to go limp like a drunk driver at exactly the right time and angle to avoid injury.

I was just thinking AJ Brown looks old and frail and then realized I'm watching a Peacock stream and the cameras aren't up their butts like usual.

Sproles was like that. Amazing longevity for an RB. I think he ducked under their knees or something. Looked like he was getting killed, but never seemed to take a solid hit.
