I liked it. I went in expecting a ludicrous gorefest that would make me wince and it delivered. It doesn't try to be remotely clever or carry any kind of a message, which is refrshing these days.

H3 tried to branch out but that got even worse.

I enjoy 3. It’d have been better served by just being called “Season of the Witch” without the Halloween 3 part. But its failure led to Halloween 4, which is probably the best sequel in the whole series.
I heard that the plan with the Halloween franchise after 2 (or possibly during the development of 2) was that it would become an anthology series where it would be a new story told over the course of 2 movies each time. That’s why 3 ended on a cliffhanger. The general audience already associated Halloween with Michael Myers so they had to scrap that and return to the original storyline.

I agree that 4 is great. The scene where Loomis confronts Michael at the gas station creeped me out as a kid.

apparently, this is the film that's going to get "Terrifier" into, relatively, more mainstream eyes

So, be prepared for the "FYE-ification", and merchandising of Art the clown

You see what happened to Deadpool, Minions, and other once loved niggas that are now "fat girl goy slop"

The anthology bit was a pretty good idea if it’d had been done well. H3 was an awful movie that completely killed the entities premise. I linked a director/writer commentary a while back on H4 about the genesis of this idea and how it failed.

i mean- to a larger scale

sure- you see Shirts on like Cavity Colors or Terror Threads, and other IG horror nigga pages.....I'm talking about car decals for normies, and footie pajamas
I went to a Walmart in Virginia. The white trash have already globbed on super hard. Young and older. It's the season and it's full on Spirit of Halloween ready. Paired together already with the Nightmare Before Christmas decals. I'm sure it will grow even more. Terrifier 4 is already greenlit.
