Sir. Are you English by chance? because they consider grilling hot dogs and hamburgers BBQing. As delicious as I am sure this dish will be, where I'm from if you rolled up saying "Howdy folks, I just made some BBQ pork in a dutch oven" they are liable to hang you in the town square.

Suh. I too am from the South in one of the designated BBQ zones. As you know, there taint no such thing as Mississippi style or Florida style Q. A Dutch oven might fly in Georgia, but here suh, you'd meet your maker in a most hideous way if such a dish were presented as BBQ. Now I have no doubt it is delicious, but certain standards must be maintained in BBQ culture. One that the Carolina's violate blatantly with that mustard based sauce. Dutch ovens will not replace us!

Ribs (naturally) and Brisket are what I mainly go for, and sausage is severely underrated

Also Carolina BBQ sucks, nice thin vinegary sauce and shitty vinegary slaw

I did against the grain. Jerky should be done in the next couple hours. Changed it up, for some of it I marinated it in a mix of Worcestershire and B Dubs spicy garlic. Could be great could be terrible

Hate when that happens. I did the maple sriracha once and I used cheap ass syrup like a jew instead of spending the extra money on the real stuff. Had zero taste and I ended up throwing it out

Can't see why it wouldn't be good. Just gotta make sure you don't put too much rub on it or else it gets salty as hell
