I have a feeling he just wore ear protection and sunglasses. you can bet he didnt wear a respirator. Maybe a covid mask...maybe. I can say that in the pics of some of his projects I have seen ear protection. He seems like the type that likes to " gear up" and wear everything possible so he looks like he knows what he is doing.
