If anyone likes hoity toity 19th century British fiction, the first half of Middlemarch by George Eliot is laugh after laugh. I was surprised when I read it because I’ve never heard the book described as funny, and it does take a very serious turn.

Anyway Pat is stupid and this article makes me hate him even a little more.

Still laugh my fucking ass off at this.
Upon hearing Josiah say that, Pat didn't immediately curse out the stlaker and hang up, instead he chuckled and was elated. The world would finally hear his story and he would be famous.

But seriously who the fuck publishes anything of that length anymore? And even if someone wanted to publish a story of that length why would they want to feature a story of some fat titted faggot from Milwaukee? Patrick is very stupid is what I very longwindedly tried to say.

"Fuck no its easy to get published"
- only reason the agent looked at it was because another of his clients requested it.

Piggy literally GIFTED a career and threw it down the drain. He genuinely doesn't understand how important that break was and believes its all on his own merit and talent.

In that weird sci-fi podcast that Pat co-hosted for a while they had the dude that signed Pat to his first book deal and he mentioned he signed Pat primarily because of his presence on Twitter and his outspoken political views. Pat was quick to jump in and say that you actually need talent to get published even though the dude never mentioned Patrick's writing as a reason he was actually signed.

I don't think Pat is lying about there not being many funny books, per se. He is so stupid that a lot of humor in print goes over his head, because he can't picture it. Being raised with TV and movies, he needs everything fed to him visually.

It's why he doesn't like A Hitchhikers Guide and was ignorant enough to think he could do better. What are they using leaves for money for, and why are they burning the leaves? That doesn't make sense. What is a telephone sanitizer even?

I thought that was how he got the TOR deal? Before Ark he had never had much of a twitter following and Obama was still president.

I thought he was talking about science fiction but I did a double take and wow, he really is a fucking idiot. Catch 22 is a book off the top of my head that I can remember as being very humorous. Hunter S. Thompson’s Rum Diaries is another one that comes to mind.
Anything by John Barth, Henry Miller, Thomas Pynchon . . . countless hilarious fiction writers.

"Continuation of a Douglas Adams book...." Of course this fucker can't come up with an original idea. Always taking someone else's shit

Might be one of the worst things about him, everything is “…but IN SPACE!” Like putting something in space is what science fiction is all about. Some of the best science fiction has NOTHING to do with space.

That's like 4-5 pages. Hemingway said it was a successful day if you got 1 page written per day.
Hemingway also woke up early and wrote every morning. No excuses.

Pat wakes up when he’s gotta get out a beer shit from the night before, bleary eyed and hungover. He probably is awake for several hours before he “writes” anything, and that’s in between correcting the record and trying to go viral on Twitter.

A lot of people write more per day in fan fiction about him.
It me! 🤓

I just caught up on this thread after a day of intense meetings with retarded “professionals” who don’t know their faces from their taints and waste my money trying to figure it out. I’m fucking furious with them. But your responses cracked me up and reminded me that not everyone is an insufferable, humorless dipshit — just most people, including Pat.

Pat’s total daily word count shakes out at a ratio of 98.99999% of his words being barfed onto Twitter and maybe .00001% on “work” — plus maybe 1% on texts to Reddit guys. He spends more words on people he despises way more than on his supposed authorship. Nice prioritization skills, stupid. The rascals have put a complete stop to his productivity, which wasn’t even adequate to begin with. You’d need a heart of fucking stone not to laugh.
