No Jokes. Real Question. FOR REAL. Do you have serious thoughts of Suicide?

The DMAN has had it in his mind at his lowest, but he usually only gets to that point when he's being a dramatic little fudge about something stupid that later has a chuckle about, or forgets completely. Once he picks himself up, dusts off, and heads forward.

It is nothing but an empty threat one makes to themselves, while enjoying their own pity. It's like reverse dopamine, replaying your worst thoughts, sending you into that shame spiral, knowing you're absolutely finished. Maybe popping a little sad music on there that makes you feel like a MOPE. But a temporary daydream your mind doesn't let you wake up from.

Friends and Fans, if you ever have thoughts of suicide. Just think to yourself. Instead of just ending it there quietly... Try something outrageous - Be selfish. Take out huge loans. Start a business, you literally have a 50/50 shot as long as you pray and thank the lord for what he done. Take ridiculous risks, run your credit into the ground buying things you always wanted like an Anthony might. We say 'might' because The DMAN hasn't taken any shots at Anthony lately, and The DMAN would like to keep it that way. (O&A 30th, summer 2024)

The truth is, The DMAN has never even gotten to the stage of even CONSIDERING the method of suicide -- That's how he knows it's just a dramatic empty thread to oneself. Would never try to shoot self. Too scared of heights to even climb let alone jump off anything. Would rather live another 90 years fearing death than ever be burned alive. However The DMAN appreciates and cherishes life, but at his worst moments, he does consider especially if he were to be diagnosed with any incurable disease. What's the point? Do you really love life that much that you would undergo that which make you even less capable of living your life as it was? Bed-ridden? Where we at with that? The DMAN is going to hang up (the phone, not himself) and listen to your answer.

Why'd ya do it, Steve?

Follow Up Question:

How many people do you know who said Your Moms Box? And how did they do it?

The DMAN knows at least 1 who was an old internet pal, would chat on AIM a lot. He was always crushing on some girl and crying about her. We fell out of contact and The DMAN remembers actually feeling like the guy was a pest whenever he tried to talk after we stopped speaking regularly.

But he evidently really needed a friend. He actually got the girl, the very one he was crushing on. And later he did have a hotter girlfriend. It's possible he offed because she cheated on him or something. The DMAN doesn't even know who to contact to ask "wha happen?" or how he did it. But just knowing that The DMAN basically blew off this kid whenever he tried to chat does bring forward a lot of guilt.

Been suicidal for as long as I can remember. I'm not suicidal if I take prozac. If I go off it I will start sobbing all the time but I won't get suicidal until the OCD symptoms start.
According to my aunt, when my old man got back from vietnam, she went to check in on him in the shitty farmhouse he was renting. She found him laying face-down on the bed in the middle of the day, catatonic. She thought he was going to blow his brains out. He didn't, he persevered like a retard. Be like my old man

I like your old man. I would be a LOT more stoic if I didn't have the uncontrollable crying issue. Because I will cry in public no matter where I am. Pretty embarrassing. And I'm talking sobbing.

I have seen my dad weep more times than i can count
Yeah but probably for manly reasons. I'm not even one of these "men shouldn't cry" people but it's actually quite uncomfortable to cry all the time. When my father died it took about 5 years for me to cry. For my mom it took 6 months.
But I will wake up in the morning and just start sobbing without Prozac
