Movies you completely forgot existed

Jokes aside, and I have no problem spoiling a 20 year old movie so if you do, fuck off, but the question of WHY is never really answered in anything resembling a satisfying way, Other than that, Phone Booth is one of the best fucking thrillers in the world, beat by beat, there is never a SECOND of that movie you go "this is a good moment to light a ciggie" or check the time or whatever. It's a near perfect movie ruined by the absence of motivation.
But since you bring it up I gotta bring up a movie people only hate, instead of the plot hole, because of, only the lead actor, and unfairly, because he is FANTASTIC in it, even if its the only thing he's ever done fantastically outside of that 70s show.

don't know if it still holds up but I have forgotten about it more than once, I do remember checking it out, revisiting it in my early to mid 20s and going "oh, this holds up"

Watched the Butterfly Effect (Director's cut version) for the first time a couple of years back and enjoyed it. It was refreshing how nasty and dark it was and I can't remember if there were any jarringly silly moments to break up the tension, which is all the rage in faggoty contemporary media, because God forbid you have someone dwell on a negative emotion for more than fifteen seconds.

WB completed rebooted Superman after that with the Snyder movies. Looks like they are going to reboot Superman again now that the guy who married Pam from The Office and dumped her when he got Marvel money is in charge of DC.

What was the point of making that into a movie? It was based on a true story. Clooney played a guy who was so stupid he got him and his whole crew killed. They weren't heroes, they were dumbasses.
There was no reason to ever make another Superman movie after the second Christopher Reeve one. Well, besides money. I'll never understand who thought it was a good idea to let Snyder release some de-saturated, depressing CGI nightmare. James Gunn could very well do something good with it, but who really cares at this point? Some dorks can argue about it online for a few years until the next reboot, I guess.

When I was a wee lad, Nickelodeon played the black and white Superman show with George Reeves from the '50s. That's really who Superman is meant for, little kids. His powers are basically infinite, which is too much for even the man children who eat up Marvel.

One time I got a VHS of those from the library. I was about 5 and all in wit da Superman. For some reason the tapes didn't have the tabs punched out and I accidentally taped about 10 seconds of whatever was on TV. I thought I was in so much trouble. I worried about that shit for weeks, like some kind of little faggot.

Shockingly, no public librarian in the late 90s was too invested into getting to the bottom of who taped a few seconds of Rugrats over a George Reeves Superman episode. I skated that time.
