The look on his face was that of a guy who had been sold on this being a huge event which would be great for his business only to have nobody show up and have to deal with a 50 year old retard yelling CHOP CHEE! Like a jackass.

Serch completely fucked the venue, the chop chee guy and the staff. The venue probably has a regular brunch crowd who were alienated by it being a stupid "hip hop brunch" with a washed up old wigger yelling into a microphone. I'd also bet that Serch hired a couple of huge, nightclub security door guys, because you can't have a hip hop event without scary niggers mean mugging you as you walk in. Blacks don't tip, so the staff got fucked. And then the poor, poor chop chee guy. He's a fucking veteran. He didn't deserve this.
Also, anyone who would be half assed interested in attending a "hip hop brunch" (I feel like a faggot even writing it) is likely not going to know who the fuck MC Serch is or 3rd Bass. Most people don't know until you say "the 'pop goes the weasel cuz the weasel goes pop' guy."

Even funnier Serch isn’t even playing the hit classic rap stuff. Most places can get a crowd if they’re doing a “throwback” event or something but he’s playing 3rd Bass and real NYC rap that wasn’t exactly big chart wise like LL Cool J / Run DMC / etc.
There’s certain “old school” rap stuff that gets bar crowds going - Biggie, OutKast, 2Pac, Dr Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Ludacris (crazy that layer stuff is considered classic) but he’s prob only playing late 80s NYC real rap and not the pop hit stuff. I bet he even DEMANDED Vanilla Ice “Ice, Ice Baby” not be played. He was trying to throw a bar night party at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday with mimosas. Everyone involved got screwed by dumb Serch.

That 100% happened, it’s clear that venue and CHOP CHEE won’t be working with Serch again anytime soon. Knowing him he talked a huge game, how he’s a legend, he “toured the world” produced Nas, everyone knows him, gonna BE LIT!, bring in extra staff, order extra stuff, etc. all for 3 ugly dopes to show up while Serch yelled into his phone and bothered any regular customers they had. This was a Saturday afternoon in FL, a place like that has to try hard to be that dead on a Saturday afternoon. Funny he sold it also has college football game viewing party and I didn’t even see a tv.

Also note while many people have moved from NY to FL it’s not the majority. A lot of NY moved there after 9/11 but FL is pretty much people from all over the country or born and raised in FL. Having a YO YO NEW YORK IN THE HOUSE!!! Party isn’t really going to attract many people. Especially one playing heavy NY rap music, you’re in the dirty south - they don’t give a shit about 80s / early 90s east coast hip hop. I bet Serch yelled WHERE BROOKLYN AT?! The face of that guy was the face of a guy who was thinking in his head how much money he lost doing this dead event. Saturday afternoon in Tampa and he’s in the only place nobody is going.
We should reach out to the guy about the event but tell him Serch reached out to us in relation for another event and we want to know how it went since Serch seems to be exaggerating about the business he says he can bring.
