Watching "cop land" right now. Within minutes of the movie starting, my wife is reading the wikipedia about the movie instead of actually watching it. What court would convict me of battery

Great film, watched in my Keitel rabbit hole and Stallone is great in it. Liotta is probably my favorite character after Stallone but them plus Keitel is great. De Niro is ok in it but could have been a different actor and had the same effect but does kinda harken to Pacino in Serpico.

Currently watching True Romance and gotta say it's 100% worth the watch despite being a "romance" movie. Movie opens with banter where Christian Slater says he thinks Elvis is better looking than most women and he would fuck him and then invites some bar slut to a triple feature of kung-fu movies. Will report back at the end and say if it sucked later on.

James Gandalfini's first movie too, I think, and a big reason he got The Sopranos.

Also, one of Gary Oldman’s best roles. “He must’ve thought it was white boy day.” And just the scene between Walken and Hopper should be shown to any movie fan in the world.

Also the fight in the motel room between Arquette and Gandolfini was one of the very rare times a woman wins the fight in a movie in a way that was plausible. Not Pow POW girl power like she’d have a punch that could knock him out or flip him over.

What? He threw her from about five feet in the air onto her back then smacked her into every piece of furniture. Watch the scene where Tony fights Gloria and she tries to stab him with the corkscrew. He just tosses her onto the ground nearly paralyzing her.

Dune 2 sucks and history will not be kind to it regardless of how many 98% reviews it gets here and now. Some of the visuals and soundtrack are good but the cast and the script turn it into a turd. Zendaya is a fucking plain Jane average broad () who can't act. Chalamet is gay even for a mincing femboy. Bautista shouldn't be in any serious movie. They should all be stinking up a Star Wars movie.

Instead I wish I'd watched Tremors again. Half as long (the movie not the worms tee hee) and still holds up.

@LingerLonger movies and shows that are actually good?

Watched Casino and Goodfellas, and holy shit is the former overrated. So many blatant goofs (car explosion scene), bad directing, and the whole thing is basically a romance drama. I don't know why some people think it's better than Goodfellas wtf.
